Eliza is the Assistant Dean for Student Services in the UIC Honors College. As part of her role she also serves as the coordinator for the Guaranteed Professional Program Admissions (GPPA) initiative. She works with GPPA students from the applicant stage through to graduation. Eliza coordinates the academic advising initiatives of the Honors College. She is an active member of the National Association of Advisors in the Health Professions (NAAHP), the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) and the Illinois Academic Advising Association (ILACADA). She received her Master’s in Higher Education Administration from George Washington University and her B.A. in Anthropology from McGill University.
Zoie is the GPPA Graduate Assistant within the UIC Honors College. She graduated from UIC’s Honors College and GPPA Medicine program in 2017 with a degree in Biological Sciences. Zoie’s roles include communication with prospective students and social programming for current students, with an emphasis on community-building across the diverse GPPA programs. During her undergraduate years at UIC, she was heavily involved on campus and throughout Chicago and is therefore able to answer questions from both a staff and student perspective. Zoie is currently pursuing her Masters of Public Health in the UIC School of Public Health, with a focus on Health Policy and Administration.
