Stacie McCloud

Dean McCloud started at the Honors College as a student and has been working in the Honors College since she completed her degree in education in 1992. She earned her Master’s degree in teaching of mathematics in 1995. Dean McCloud runs the day-to-day operations of the College and oversees the student lifecycle from recruitment and admissions through completion of the Honors College curriculum, culminating with convocation. She serves as a strategic partner to the Dean in guiding the Honors College and as a member of the Honors College Management Team.  She is the acting coordinator of UIC's GPPA program at the campus level. As a proud two-time UIC graduate, Dean McCloud's career has focused on ensuring that each Honors College student has the support and tools necessary to complete their undergraduate degree and find their purpose as they move into the next phase of their academic or professional journey.
